Weston on the Green Memorial Village Hall

Weston on the Green Memorial Village Hall

Weston on the Green Memorial Village Hall started off as a wooden hut in the 1920s serving the community of Weston on the Green and in memory to those who had fought in the First World War. The current building was opened in 1973 to provide an 'educational, social and cultural' space for villagers. The hall is not owned by the Parish Council.

The Village Hall Committee hold a varied programme of events which include music nights, film evenings, quizzes, talks, Garden Club shows, and Christmas events.

The Committee also run and manage the popular village telephone box library as well as maintaining the memorial garden to the front of the Hall.

The Hall is also host to a range of village clubs and societies, including the WI, Garden Club and Weston Society. The Hall is at the heart of the Village in terms of location and community.

The Hall is available to book by individuals (subject to the Hall's T&Cs and booking conditions) and is available for business/commercial bookings as well. Being located close to the A34/M40 the Hall is the perfect space for company training days and meetings.
